Hi - I am Diane Lewis, founder and CEO of Firefly Tutors!

I am an educator, entrepreneur, and philanthropist dedicated to helping students. To me, tutoring solidifies the foundation for all learning. Not all students learn the same way. 

I have found that engaging multiple senses, helps non-traditional learners grasp challenging concepts that might otherwise feel unreachable. These added components make learning more memorable and FUN! Traditional learning works for some, but with nearly 50% of learners in the U.S. below grade level in ELA and/or math, rather than frustrating and debilitating students, I creatively find new ways to help them achieve academic greatness. By utilizing diverse pathways in the brain, we build stronger comprehension, application, and retention in students. This foundation is essential for higher learning and, more importantly, effectively prepares our youth for optimistic, solution-centered thinking for career and adult life.

My mission remains simple: help every student to reach their highest potential and ensure that opportunity is never limited by circumstances. By combining my work at Firefly with nonprofit initiatives, I proudly illuminate a path for students to turn their challenges into stepping stones toward a much brighter future.
